Cabo Verdeans United Organization (CVU) is proud to celebrate 25 years of service to the children and families of Cabo Verde with a special anniversary concert featuring the internationally acclaimed Cabo Verdean singer Lura.

Recognized as one of the most celebrated voices in Lusophone music, Lura has captivated audiences worldwide with her powerful vocals, vibrant performances, and deep connection to Cabo Verdean culture. Her music has become a source of

pride for Cabo Verdeans across the globe, making her the perfect artist to help commemorate this important milestone in CVU's history.

For twenty-five years, CVU has remained committed to empowering communities throughout Cabo Verde by building playgrounds, providing educational resources, supporting healthcare initiatives, and creating opportunities that improve the lives of children. What began as a dream by two young sisters from the island of Brava has grown into an organization that has impacted thousands of children across all nine inhabited islands of Cabo Verde.

This anniversary celebration is more than a concert; it is a tribute to the volunteers, donors, sponsors, and community members who have made our mission possible. Proceeds from the event will support future projects, including playground construction, educational programs, healthcare partnerships, and sustainable community initiatives throughout Cabo Verde.​
